This August, The Hot Bothy arrives at The Langdale Estate with a wood-fired sauna which has been meticulously converted from a horse trailer.  As this is a Secret Sauna, it won't appear on a map and we won't reveal its exact location until you've booked.

Following a clue to your destination, you'll arrive at a hidden corner of the estate where heat, cold water and fresh Lakeland air do the rest.

Step from the warmth of the sauna into one of two outdoor plunge tubs. Feel your breath catch. Feel the water wake every sense. Then return to the heat and let the cycle begin again.

There's something deeply satisfying about earning a moment of stillness. About sitting quietly while the stove crackles. About watching steam drift into the landscape. About leaving with rosy cheeks, rested legs and a clearer mind than the one you arrived with.
