Wedding Ceremonies in the Lake District

The Langdale Hotel has been granted a licence under the Marriage Act of 1994, allowing us to conduct civil wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships on the premises. The rooms which are licensed are the Hotel Lounge and Partner's Room.

The Gazebo in the Garden

Langdale's new and elegant wedding gazebo has just been completed. Designed by Langdale Grounds Manager Andy Dawson and part-built by Langdale's own Grounds Department. The wall was constructed with traditional materials sourced from within the Langdale Valley by Royal Horticultural Society Gold Medal Winner Andrew Loudon.

The Gazebo in the Garden offers a totally unique and memorable location for your wedding.

The Hotel Lounge

The Hotel Lounge is perfect for your wedding ceremony with its semi-informal layout accommodating 50 guests.

Partner's Room

Ideal for more formal layout accommodating 80 guests.
